But a year of growth has turned the tides as South Winn tripped up both foes by nearly the same score, 61-38 over West Central and 61-39 over the Eagles.

The West Central’s girls’ basketball team has had some offensive problems so far this season. In the second half of both games last week, the offense went colder than the temperatures in the wind chill advisory that fans fought to get to the gyms.

Of the 19 points the gals scored, none came in the second half of either contest as WC fell at home to South Winn, 57-12, on Tuesday, and 50-7 on the road Friday at Sumner-Fredericksburg.
